Refunds & Cancellation
Seven days on any paid plan, no questions asked. This page says exactly how to ask, how long the money takes to come back, and what happens to your account.
1. Scope and Application
1.1 This Individual Student Purchase Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to paid NAADI AI plans purchased directly from NAADI AI by a parent or legal guardian for the use of a Student, or by a Student who has attained eighteen years of age.
It covers:
- Single Subject plans;
- Complete NEET plans; and
- additional Single Subject plans purchased for the same Student.
1.2 This Policy does not apply to a Student Licence purchased by a school, college, coaching institute or other educational institution ("Institution") on behalf of a student. Institution-purchased licences are governed by the NAADI AI Institutional Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1.3 This Policy forms part of, and must be read together with, the NAADI AI Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms used but not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms & Conditions.
1.4 In the event of a conflict between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions on a refund or cancellation matter, this Policy prevails to the extent of that conflict.
2. Who May Purchase and Who is the Contracting Party
2.1 A Plan may be purchased only by a person who has attained eighteen years of age and is competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2.2 Where the Student is below eighteen years of age, the Plan must be purchased by the Student's parent or legal guardian. In that case the parent or legal guardian is the Purchaser and the sole contracting party, and the Student is an authorised user of the account.
2.3 Creation of an account for a Student below eighteen years of age requires verification of the parent or legal guardian through the registered parent email address. Access is granted only after that verification has been completed.
2.4 By completing a purchase, the Purchaser confirms that they are the parent or legal guardian of the Student, or are themselves a Student aged eighteen years or above, and that the information provided at registration is accurate and complete.
The following rights belong to the Purchaser alone:
- the right to request and receive a refund; and
- the right to purchase additional plans for the Student.
2.5 Those rights may be exercised only by the Purchaser, and only from the registered email address. A Student who is not the Purchaser may not exercise them.
2.6 Clause 2.5 does not restrict the Student's right to delete their own account. As the authorised user, the Student may delete the account at any time from within the NAADI AI application, as set out in Section 9.
Deleting the account is not itself what creates a refund. A refund arises only under Section 5, and only where the purchase is still inside the Refund Period. Where it is, the refund is paid automatically as part of the deletion — and it is paid to the Purchaser, who made the payment, not to the Student who deleted the account. See clause 8.3.
2.7 Where NAADI AI has reasonable grounds to believe that a Plan was purchased by or on behalf of a person below eighteen years of age without parental or guardian verification, NAADI AI may suspend access, seek confirmation from the parent or legal guardian, and refund the amount paid.
3. Definitions
3.1 "Purchaser" means the parent or legal guardian who purchases a Plan, or a Student aged eighteen years or above who purchases a Plan for their own use.
3.2 "Student" means the named individual for whose use the Plan is purchased and who is the authorised user of the account.
3.3 "Plan" means a Single Subject plan or a Complete NEET plan purchased directly from NAADI AI.
3.4 "Plan Term" means the period for which the Plan has been purchased, as stated at checkout.
3.5 "Refund Period" means the period of seven calendar days described in Section 5.
4. Prices and Amounts Payable
4.1 The price displayed at checkout is the total amount payable by the Purchaser for the applicable Plan at that time, and is inclusive of any taxes chargeable on that transaction at that time.
At the date of this Policy: Single Subject ₹1,999 and Complete NEET ₹4,999.
4.2 NAADI AI may revise its prices prospectively. A revision does not affect a Plan already purchased, for the remainder of its existing Plan Term.
4.3 Any refund payable under this Policy is of the amount actually received by NAADI AI in respect of the applicable purchase, subject to applicable legal and payment-processing requirements.
5. SEVEN-DAY Refund
5.1 The Purchaser may request a full refund at any time within seven calendar days from the date on which payment is confirmed.
5.2 The Purchaser is not required to provide a reason.
5.3 Ordinary use of NAADI AI during the Refund Period does not reduce or void the refund. This includes practice, tests and assessments, Concept Studio, NEET Arena, Quick Revise, Nia, and downloading material for the Student's own preparation. The Refund Period exists so that the Purchaser can genuinely evaluate the Service.
5.4 Section 12 sets out the only circumstances in which a refund may be declined notwithstanding clause 5.3.
5.5 A refund under this Section ends all paid access to the Plan with effect from the date the refund is processed.
6. How to Request a Refund
6.1 The Purchaser should email support@naadiai.in from the registered email address.
The request should include:
- the Plan purchased;
- the date of purchase; and
- the Razorpay payment reference.
6.2 NAADI AI will acknowledge the request ordinarily within forty-eight hours of receipt, and will process an approved refund ordinarily within three working days of approval.
6.3 Refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method through the payment provider.
6.4 The time taken for a refunded amount to appear in the Purchaser's account may depend on the relevant bank, card issuer, UPI provider or other payment provider, and is outside NAADI AI's control.
6.5 Where a refund cannot technically be returned to the original payment method, NAADI AI may request reasonable alternative payment details and supporting documentation.
7. Subject Plans and the Complete Neet Plan
A Purchaser may buy in either of two ways:
- one or more Single Subject plans, each purchased separately for a named subject; or
- the Complete NEET plan, purchased as a single transaction covering all subjects included in that plan.
7.1 The Complete NEET plan is offered at a total price lower than the aggregate price of the Single Subject plans it covers. That difference reflects the Complete NEET plan being purchased as a single transaction, and is available only on that basis.
7.2 A Purchaser who holds one or more Single Subject plans may purchase further Single Subject plans at the price displayed at the time of that further purchase.
7.3 Amounts already paid for a Single Subject plan are not credited, set off, adjusted or refunded against the price of the Complete NEET plan. The Complete NEET plan is not offered as a paid upgrade from a subsisting Single Subject plan, and no differential or top-up price is available.
7.4 Accordingly, a Purchaser who holds a Single Subject plan and wishes to cover the remaining subjects should purchase the remaining Single Subject plans individually, each at the price then displayed.
7.5 Each purchase is a separate transaction and carries its own Refund Period, running from the date on which payment for that purchase is confirmed.
7.6 Purchasing an additional Single Subject plan does not restart, extend or renew the Refund Period applicable to any earlier purchase.
7.7 Each purchase carries its own Plan Term unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout. Purchasing an additional plan does not extend the Plan Term of an existing plan.
7.8 Downgrades, partial cancellations, and refunds of individual subjects within a Complete NEET plan are not available once the applicable Refund Period has expired.
7.9 The plans available, the subjects each plan covers, and the applicable prices are those displayed on the NAADI AI pricing page at the time of purchase.
8. Refund and Account Deletion are Different
8.1 A refund does not automatically delete the account or erase its data.
Where a refund is requested without account deletion:
- the eligible payment is refunded;
- paid access ends and the account returns to the free plan;
- attempts, notes and progress remain associated with the account, subject to the Privacy Policy; and
- Nia conversations remain associated with the account, subject to the Privacy Policy.
8.2 Account deletion is a separate action from a refund. Section 9 applies to any deletion.
8.3 Deleting an account is not a way to obtain a refund. Where a deletion occurs inside the Refund Period, the refund follows as a consequence; it is not a faster route to the money, and a request under Section 6 obtains the same refund without destroying anything.
9. Account Deletion
9.1 The Student, as the authorised user of the account, may request deletion of the account at any time from within the NAADI AI application or at naadiai.in/delete-account. This right is not conditional on the consent of the Purchaser, and is provided in accordance with applicable app-store requirements.
9.2 The Purchaser may request deletion of the Student's account by writing to admin@naadiai.in from the registered parent or guardian email address. NAADI AI will confirm the relationship before acting on such a request. There is no self-service route for a Purchaser to delete a Student's account, and this is deliberate.
When a deletion request is initiated, NAADI AI will send a warning notification stating that the deletion process has begun and describing what will be permanently lost. That notification is sent to:
- the Student, within the student portal and at the registered student email address; and
- the Purchaser, at the registered parent or guardian email address.
Before the final deletion confirmation, the person initiating deletion shall be shown:
- the amount that will be refunded, if any;
- what will be permanently lost, including attempts, notes, progress and Nia conversations; and
- a clear warning that account deletion permanently removes account data that cannot be restored.
9.3 Deletion of the account is not itself what creates a refund entitlement. Any refund remains governed by Section 5 and Section 12 — so a deletion inside the Refund Period is refunded, and one outside it is not — and is payable only to the Purchaser.
9.4 Where the account is still within the Refund Period at the time deletion is initiated, NAADI AI may automatically initiate the refund of eligible paid amounts to the Purchaser before completing irreversible deletion.
9.5 Once deletion is confirmed, the account and the data subject to deletion will be permanently erased in accordance with NAADI AI's deletion process and applicable law. Certain records survive, and they are listed in the Privacy Policy at §10.6.
9.6 Deletion is irreversible. NAADI AI cannot restore the deleted account, attempts, notes, progress or conversations after deletion has been completed, and cannot reinstate paid access to a deleted account.
9.7 If a refund is payable but cannot be processed automatically, the person initiating deletion shall have the option either to wait for the refund to be completed before deletion, or to proceed with deletion while the refund remains payable to the Purchaser and is subsequently processed manually.
9.7a Where you choose to proceed, NAADI AI records your name, email address and the amount owed, so that it can be paid by hand. That record is kept until the money has been sent and is described in the Privacy Policy at §10.6.
9.8 A deletion that pauses because a refund could not be processed is not a refusal to delete. It exists because once an account is deleted NAADI AI has no account to pay into and no way to reach the Purchaser, and completing the deletion would mean the money is lost.
9.9 Deletion must not be used to create or claim a refund outside the Refund Period.
10. Payment Problems
10.1 Payment succeeded but access did not activate
If payment is confirmed but the purchased Plan has not activated within thirty minutes, the Purchaser should contact support with the payment reference. NAADI AI will either activate the purchased access or refund the payment in full, as appropriate.
10.2 Duplicate payment
Where NAADI AI identifies a duplicate payment for the same purchase, the duplicate amount will be refunded, without any request from the Purchaser. We check for these routinely.
10.3 Payment failed but money was debited
A payment that failed while a bank, card issuer or payment provider temporarily debited or held funds may represent an authorisation hold rather than a completed payment to NAADI AI. The Purchaser should contact support with the transaction reference. NAADI AI will confirm whether the payment was received. Release of an authorisation hold may depend on the relevant bank or payment provider.
11. Referral Rewards
Full terms are in the NAADI AI Referral Programme Terms. This Section governs only the interaction between a referral reward and a refund.
11.1 A referral reward becomes earned and payable only after the referred purchase has completed the seven-day refund period applicable to it without a refund having been requested or processed.
If a purchase made using a referral link is refunded within that period, no referral reward is earned or payable in respect of that purchase.
No referral reward is paid out before the seven-day refund period applicable to the referred purchase has expired.
11.2 A refund of the Purchaser's own purchase does not, by itself, cancel referral rewards already earned in respect of eligible purchases made by other users.
11.3 Where a referred purchase is refunded after the reward has become earned and been paid — for example a duplicate payment identified late, or a refund under Section 14 — NAADI AI will not seek recovery of the reward from the referrer.
11.4 If a Purchaser has eligible referral earnings that have not yet been paid when they choose to delete their account, NAADI AI will offer the choice to receive the eligible payout before deletion, or to proceed with deletion and forgo those unpaid referral earnings. Deletion is always available immediately; the choice is whether to collect the money first.
12. Content PROTECTION, Fair Use and Refund Abuse
12.1 All content made available through NAADI AI, including questions, solutions, explanations, generated study material and downloadable files, is proprietary to NAADI AI or its licensors. The Purchaser and the Student receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that content solely for the Student's own preparation during the Plan Term.
The following conduct is prohibited:
- sharing account credentials, or permitting use of the account by any person other than the named Student;
- systematic or bulk downloading, copying, screen-capture, screen-scraping, crawling or automated extraction of content;
- reproducing, redistributing, publishing, reselling or otherwise making content available to any third party;
- circumventing, disabling or attempting to defeat any technical restriction or access control; and
- using content to develop, train or improve any competing product, dataset or machine-learning model.
12.2 A request for a refund does not release the Purchaser or the Student from the obligations in clause 12.1.
Where NAADI AI has reasonable grounds to believe that conduct prohibited under clause 12.1 has occurred, NAADI AI may:
- investigate before processing a refund request;
- pause the processing timeline in clause 6.2 for the duration of that investigation, up to a maximum of fifteen working days;
- decline the refund request, giving written reasons; and
- suspend or terminate access in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
12.3 For the avoidance of doubt, ordinary use of the Service for the Student's own preparation, however extensive, is never a ground for declining a refund. Only conduct described in clause 12.1 may be relied upon under this Section.
12.4 Where a refund is processed, the licence granted under clause 12.1 terminates immediately. The Purchaser and the Student must cease using, and must delete, any content downloaded or copied from the Service.
12.5 NAADI AI may decline a refund request where the Purchaser or the Student has previously received a refund in respect of the same or a substantially similar Plan, or where a pattern of repeated purchase and refund indicates that the Refund Period is being used for a purpose other than genuine evaluation.
12.6 Nothing in this Section limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.
14. Changes to the Service and Discontinuation
14.1 NAADI AI may add, modify, improve or replace features from time to time. A change that does not materially reduce the core functionality purchased does not give rise to a refund.
14.2 If NAADI AI permanently discontinues a subject or a material feature that forms a substantial part of a Plan during its Plan Term, and does not make available a substantially equivalent replacement, the Purchaser is entitled to a pro-rata refund of the amount paid in respect of the unused remainder of that Plan Term.
14.3 If NAADI AI permanently ceases to provide the Service, NAADI AI will give reasonable prior notice to the registered email address and will refund, on a pro-rata basis, the unused remainder of the Plan Term of each subsisting paid Plan.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, pro-rata refunds under this Section are calculated as:
Pro-rata refund = Amount paid for the Plan × unused calendar days ÷ total calendar days in the Plan Term
14.4 Temporary unavailability for scheduled maintenance, or interruption arising from causes beyond NAADI AI's reasonable control, does not amount to discontinuation for the purposes of this Section.
15. Taxes
15.1 The price displayed at checkout is the total amount payable and is inclusive of any taxes chargeable on that transaction at that time, as stated in clause 4.1.
15.2 Where GST or any other tax is legally chargeable, it will be reflected and adjusted as required by law.
15.3 Any tax treatment relating to a purchase or a refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
16. Refunds and Applicable Law
16.1 Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
16.2 Where a refund is required by applicable law outside the voluntary seven-day refund described in this Policy, NAADI AI will comply with that legal requirement.
17. Grievance Redressal and Support
17.1 Refund requests and payment-related issues should be directed to support@naadiai.in.
17.2 In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the details of the Grievance Officer appointed by NAADI AI are set out below.
- Name: Sirpi A S
- Designation: Founder & Grievance Officer
- Email: admin@naadiai.in
- Address: 97A Perambur Redhills Road, Kalpalayam, Kolathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600099, India
17.3 The Grievance Officer will acknowledge receipt of a complaint within forty-eight hours of receipt, and will endeavour to redress the complaint within one month from the date of receipt.
17.4 NAADI AI may update the name or contact details of the Grievance Officer by publishing the revised details on its website.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
18.1 This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
18.2 Subject to clause 18.3, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy.
18.3 Nothing in clause 18.2 restricts the right of a consumer to approach a District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including a commission within whose jurisdiction the consumer resides or personally works for gain.
19. Changes to This Policy
19.1 NAADI AI may update this Policy from time to time. The revised Policy takes effect from the date it is published on the NAADI AI website.
19.2 A purchase is governed by the version of this Policy in effect on the date that purchase was made.
19.3 If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force to the extent permitted by law.
